Scope of Project: 6 Regulation Sized Pickleball Courts and a Basketball Court (Full Court)

4/15/20

• WSN staked the project site to develop a Grading & Paving Plan. 

4/20/20

• Holden Electric removed a light pole located within the project site.

5/4/20

• Underground utilities were located.

5/7/20

• Anderson Brothers broke ground, signifying the official start of the project. They cut material in the morning and started on the aggregate base (class 5) in the afternoon.

5/8/20

• Anderson Brothers completed construction of the aggregate base in preparation for the bituminous base course (first lift).

5/13/20

• Anderson Brothers started and finished the bituminous base course.

5/14/20

• Anderson Brothers applied tack to the base course in preparation for the wear course.
• Anderson Brothers started and finished the wear course.

5/22/20

• Elite Fence & Deck started driving posts for the fence.

5/30/20

• Elite Fence & Deck finished installing the fence on the courts.

6/17/20

• Maintenance Staff poured concrete footings for the basketball hoops

6/22/20

• Lee Sports Surfacing pressure washed the playing surface of each court.

6/23/20

• Lee Sports filled "bird baths" and began applying the base acrylic material.

6/24/20

• Lee Sports finished applying the base material and started to apply layers of the green acrylic.

6/25/20

• Lee Sports finished applying the acrylic surfacing and began taping for striping the lines.
• Lee Sports finished striping the pickleball courts

6/26/20

• Lee Sports started and finished striping the the basketball court.

6/29/20

• Park Staff assembled the basketball hoops

7/1/20

• City representatives and other important members gathered to cut a ribbon - signifying the grand opening of the new pickleball and basketball facility.
